Illustration Project

I have a short story named "The Only Moment We Were Along" that will be published in Stockholm Syndromes, an anthology of short fiction and poetry in English. And I'm also responsible for the cover and illustrations of the book––how exciting is that!

So anyway, just wanna show you a print I did a couple of days ago for the book. It's based on a picture I took in town. Like it? Hate it?

This is, I think, the first time in two months when I actually do not have any custom orders lining up to make.

Here are some of the custom stamps I've made in the past few weeks. When I look at them now I realize how much I can do better with photographing them--I'm used to carving at night and usually can't wait till the morning to take pictures:p

And I also made a new picture for custom orders! You should recognize the bull terrier if you have my stamps--it's a large stamp I made for myself and it's printed on the packages I use to mail the stamps.

(Now that I have some extra time before the new term begins... any inspiration for new stamps?)

Winter Stockholm

Winter Berlin was a photo set by Mattias Heiderich I saw last year (and have been haunted––in a good way––ever since).

Then this winter I've been thinking about taking photos of winter Stockholm. It's been snowing like crazy (as usual) and it's only yesterday that I finally took my camera out. So here're a couple of pictures of my neighborhood, Lidingö, an quiet little island in the northeast of Stockholm.
